Far out on the lake we spotted a form walking toward shore. Zooming in to 300mm determined the moving form was a fox. It limped as it traveled. Earlier in the day we heard reports about some idiot setting snares in the area. This fox got caught and tangled in the snare and was seen in the area limping around dragging the snare. Happily, other than the limp, it “seems” all right and the fox got out of the snare. Maybe we should set snares for trappers.
