We get our news in different ways. The younger generations have their eyes trained on tiny LCD screens tirelessly sliding a finger across to squint at the next screen. The older generation still holds fast to paper holding it up to catch the window light. As the older generation ages, the printed paper becomes less relevant. Who will carry on the tradition of the printed press?
great image , i like the style and content

Reminds me of the girl I heard about helping her track coach get the results printed immediately after the meet. No copy machine way out there in the field house, just an old hand cranked mimeograph. Coach hand wrote the final results on the master, and showed the girl how to crank out the copies. When the girl saw it working, she said, “Hmm, what will they think of next.”

a newspaper? so quaint !
Oh, what a great photo! I love the colour and composition and I definitely love his pose and clothing. I’m a technology addict so possibly not worth commenting on how I’m contributing to the decline of print!
Great shot Rob. The newspaper in Birmingham has cut back to three days a week, and has taken a larger online presence. Time changes…
One photo with great and vibrant colors.
Excelent moment you have captured.
