While E. Coyote

My intention was to seek out a secluded pond in hopes of capturing the autumn colors reflected on the pond’s surface. The wind picked up and it was a bit too late in the morning to capture what I wanted. The pond was filled with ducks laying -over on their journey south. I sat next to a tree on the bank of the pond. This proved to scare the ducks to the other side, obviously. I waited them out hoping to get some nice close up photos of the ducks in the reflected colors. After 1/2 hour of patience, they began swimming toward me. About half way through their journey I heard loud rustling behind me, then beside my maybe 20 yards away. The noise went down a slope to my right. That is when the ducks quickly swam away to the far side again. That is When I noticed the coyote. Wanting a better photo of him, I quietly followed flanking him to get my shot. I captured a number of images in burst mode, but I like this one the best.
